A bit of a departure from the norm, we're putting on a night at the Night Owls Nightclub in Tamworth, on March 25th 2005 (Good Friday). Hard house, hard trance and techno with some Clotted Cream regulars as well as Shaft regulars Mark H and Shenton.

UPDATE: unfortunately we've just found out that Casper is double-booked and unable to make Clotted this time  however he has hinted he might be able to play (previous statement about promise retracted as not actually sure now sorry!) the December 17th Christmas Clotted Cream, and we're working on a replacement. Everyone concerned is truly gutted at this turn of events however!

That's right, we're back at Kenney's Bar on Saturday 25th September 2004 - with the following line up of local legends:

doctea (Clotted Cream)
Doors open around 7:30PM, last tune at midnight, and the bar stops serving at 11. £3 door tax.

Well, fantastic news - seems that Kenny's, the original home of Clotted Cream, now have all the necessary licenses to allow us to put on more nights there 
We're planning to put on nights once a month on Saturdays, starting from September.

Well overall the night was a success! We've got a few ideas how to improve the feel of the room for next time so keep your eyes peeled for our event in January!

Alex Croxall is putting on a night on Tuesday 28th October, billed as 'Progressive and Techno', with a splash of hip hop for luck. The venue is Fleur de Lys, Nuneaton, from 7PM till 11PM.

No good news I'm afraid, we still don't have a venue.. if one comes up we'll still jump at the shot to put a night on though! (we'd be more encouraged if you would email us and tell us that you're interested in coming to future events!)
In other news, Bean has played a few times now in the back room at Bosh! (at Club Fixation in Long Eaton, Derby). Come along and give him your support next time he plays . The website is www.clubfixation.co.uk (and Bosh! listings are in the message board).

I'm afraid that due to licensing issues we are unable to put Clotted Cream on in April at Kenney's Bar  .
Hopefully we'll be able to return with another event in May, either at the same or a new venue!

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to run this event at Kenney's Bar and have had to announce that it has been CANCELLED.

If all goes to plan CC will now be open on a monthly basis. After the gig in April we are moving to a regular slot on the 1st Friday of the month.
So after "Clotted Cream" and "The Yogurt" what do we call the next gig on March 7th?

We are looking for a cow costume to be worn at and to advertise the next event on Feb. 7th. If you know of one that we could borrow we would be eternally grateful.
You can either email us or ring/text Mick on 0866 838938 with any info.
We could even use a real cow (preferably Friesian) to be in the town centre the Saturday before the gig to advertise the event.
Guest tickets are on offer as a reward. |

Thanks to those who have offered to play at Clotted Cream! The first night was to see if we could do it and could do it for cheap, and we managed it, and we gave ourselves a chance to have a go.
The second event will be more of the same, and if all goes well - and we get a good crowd - we will be looking for other up-and-coming DJs, as well as local talent and established jockeys, to put on at future events.
